Paper Submission

We ask every participant to submit a paper on his evaluation system and his results by March 30, 2006. Additionally, each participant taking part in an evaluation gets the possibility to present his system and results in a poster.

The CLEAR post-workshop proceedings will be published by Springer under the LNCS book series. Every participant of the workshop will receive a printed version.

1st Paper Submission, before the workshop, by March 30, 2006

We ask every participant to submit a paper on his evaluation system and his results by March 30, 2006. The paper will be made available online during the CLEAR-workshop on the CLEAR website.

2nd Paper Submission following the workshop

The workshop proceedings will be published by Springer under the LNCS bookseries. Therefore we ask you to submit revised final versions of your papers after the workshop . The tentative deadline will be May 15, 2006. A copy of the proceedings will be send to each workshop participant.

Format of the paper

Please use the Springer LNCS style to format your paper. A style file for Latex2e can be found here. Further style files for Latex, Word and Framemaker can be found on Springer’s website.

Paper Length: You may submit a paper of up to eight pages for every evaluation task in which you participate. In case you take part in several subtasks of an evaluation task (such as audio, video, audio-visual), you will get two extra-pages for each additional subtask you participate in. For example, if you participate in all subtasks of “3D Multi-person Tracking” - “Audio”, “Video” and “Multimodal” - you will get four extra pages for the two additional subtasks. I.e. the maximum amount of pages, you are allowed to submit, would be twelve pages.
